It all began in 1958, when John Livanos opened a small luncheonette in Long Island City with big dreams and a dedication to serving his community. Over the years, that commitment grew into a legacy of diners and restaurants built on hard work, family values, and a passion for great food. In 1994, City Limits Diner was born, combining the warmth of a classic diner with the creativity of a modern kitchen.
