I've come to love this place because they have onigiri. I always get the shrimp one and they're so good! There's good amount of seats, as well as free WiFi and charge outlets. I also always pair the onigiri with a regular fizz tea but I will say I'm taking one star off because it can be VERY hit or miss. Some days I love the milk tea here and other days it's literally water

I go to school five minutes away from here so I decided to check it out for the first time because it had such good reviews, and I got to say it was an awesome experience! I saw some negative reviews about how the place looks, etc but I thought it was really creative and eye catching. I had tried the beer flavor, red velvet chocolate chip and coffee ice cream. He also had me try the cotton candy which literally tasted like authentic cotton candy

Dessert for the two of us! I got the fruit loops and she got the cotton candy pop roc's. Mines along with hers were very good. Not too sweet and very creamy. The person at the back the counter was very helpful. They let her try a a couple of flavors so she could relay which ones were the best to me over the telephone since it was her first time there. The assortment of flavors is a big thumbs up from me. If you're tired of the same ole same ole I highly advocate that you visit.

My wife and daughter were raving about the ice cream here, so I went with my wife to give them a try. OK, it's ice cream yeah it was good but I've had better. They have a big selection and I sampled a few of the flavors and settled on "Hot Chocolate". It's chocolate ice cream with mini marshmallows. I still think Eddie's Sweet Shop has better ice cream and more convenient hours on the weekends, but the service at Max & Mina's is better

If your looking for ice cream that tastes EXACTLY how the flavor is supposed to taste this is the place for you. They have amazing flavors that you could find no place else, the owners are so nice as soon as I walked in the door they asked if I wanted to try any flavors as many as I wanted. The double cookies and cream is amazing, the cotton candy pop rocks was like no other and the captain crunch cookies and cream is so unique. This place is a must go for ice cream lovers!!!

Okay so I don't review often. But when I do is because I believe in the organization. I came across a gem in my neighborhood. Let me start off by saying, you MUST come and try this ice cream. It's overwhelming. Homemade and made with love that you just can't get at your grocers freezer.

So many flavors to choose from!!!! I've been here multiple times and this place always good! My go to flavor is Cookie Monster, but they have so many unique flavors with unique names! The decor of the ice cream shop is really cute! One side of the wall is a huge collage of old&new cereal boxes, while the other side is beach themed! They have a few tables to sit at or you can sit on the beach chairs! Also the guy that served us was nice enough to let us try different samples and after we bought our ice cream, he gave us even more samples of flavors that he liked! This is definitely my go to spot for ice cream, however I tried coming here on a Friday once and left disappointed. They are closed on Fridays!!!! Oh and this place is CASH ONLY!

This review is actually about. I had some time to kill before graduate class so I decided to treat myself to some ice cream. I was greeted warmly as soon as I walked in. Two other customers were being waited on, but I was offered a taste of the bourbon caramel ice cream that the other customers were trying. (Delicious!) as soon as I was next, the owner (I think, I feel horrible that I can't remember his name) asked me what I was like. Chocolate - so he gave me samples of 4 different chocolates. He then gave me samples of what would pair well with the one I picked. Personalization! I

Sugggggerrrr Rush! This place was hands down awesome. The guy behind the counter was super friendly and the place had super cool decorations. They allow you to taste as many flavors as you would like. Which is great considering the wide range of different kinds of ice cream they have. I'm not talking about the same old rocky road, vanilla bean, mint or cookies and cream. O no! That's way to normal for this place. Instead, dive your face into corn on the cob, SpongeBob, Cookie Monster and coconut

Today was my visit, I've left super happy and way past satisfied. The customer service is the best I've had in so so long. This isn't the kind of place you can go in and out of. There are so many cool flavors to choose from (and they let you try whatever you want)!!!! I fell in love with nutty pistachio the first time so I had to get it again. I also went with peanut butter Capon Crunch. The two flavors complemented each other really well :~) I had a midterm today that stressed me out and coming me cope with my stress!! This place is a 15-minute walk from Queens College so they'll be seeing me a lot more often :)))

Just moved nearby and this place seem like THE ice-cream place to try. My husband and I LOVED it. We already can't wait to go back and give some new flavors a try. I had cinnabun and cookie monster in a cone. (Amaaaazing!). My hubby had cookie fiend, spongebob (tasted like cake!), and banana fudge. Worth a trip out to try for sure! Yum!!!

Someone flagged my previous review, pasted word for word below, 'for promotional content'...in other words, a 3-star review of a Yelp advertiser: The staffer here was impatient as he stood under the Yiddish slang and eccentric flavor board. Tried rugelach, cap'n crunch caramel, chocolate s'mores, butterscotch caramel, honey nut cheerios, and beer nuts (the only one I didn't care for though I see the appeal). Cash only $9.74, would return if passing by to check the latest flavors I presume

I came here on a Saturday night around 10pm and it was pretty empty. As soon as you walk in through the door, you'll see how busy the walls are with different cereal boxes. Very instragrammable. Regretfully, I ordered the cookie monster wouldn't giving it a test try and it was O-K. However, my friend ordered the captain crunch cookies and cream single scoop and it was sooo delicious. It really did taste like an ice cream version of the cereal. We also then test tasted the fruity pebbles ice cream and that was super delicious as well. I would definitely come back to have a full cone of one of the cereal flavored ice cream rather than just an everyday flavor

This was the second time I've been to this establishment; the first time was maybe around 8 years ago when I was still at Queens College. Met the owner today and he seems like such a great guy. Very friendly and personable. My girlfriend and I tried around 5 flavors each and everything tasted wonderful. We both got a double scoop with 4 different flavors. I'm a big fan of the Cap'n Crunch Cookies & Cream, Double Cookies & Cream, and Hot Chocolate Cookie Monster. Definitely coming back again. Great ice cream and great service.

In love with this place! Very attentive and cheerful costumer service. The ice cream shop itself is fun to look at, felt like a kid. Dont have a favorite flavor yet but so far SpongeBob, Fruity Pebbles, Cookie Monster and the Peach ice cream are winners. Cant wait to try them all anyways.

Came here for National Ice Cream Day on a quiet Sunday afternoon. First impressions of the shop is that it is actually colorful! The walls are decorated with various candies and cereal boxes which are instantly a chat piece with whoever your company is. There are also a variety of stickers along the counter which stem from different places all through the country. The menu was a bit confusing--I wasn't sure what was a flavor I could order and what was just a beautification. Although a bit frustrating, I got over it when I saw that the most interesting flavors were written plainly. I ended up ordering the "oreo based cookie dough" and the "churro" flavors ($6.50).

Totally forgot about this place...Yelped an ice cream spot near me. They let my 5 year daughter try 3 different flavors until she picked( cotton candy & pop rocks). As for me I went for the chocolate peanut butter whirl and cookie and cream. Ice cream is light and flavorful. Don't taste super sweet. Sorry I didn't get to post pic...Ate it too fast

How have I never heard of this secret gem until today?! Only 10 minutes from my apartment with decent parking and a cute little inside space? I'm in! So I was really craving ice cream and I didn't want to go to cold stone and spend $7 on very malty ice cream although sometimes that's exactly what I'm looking for lol. I wanted to venture off and find somewhere new and Yelp helped me do just that! I saw this place and instantly knew I had to go. I got slightly lost getting there because of my poor sense of directions, but it's on Main Street right at the corner of 71st. The inside is so cute with all the bright cereal box decorations and such! I wanted to sit in there and take it all in, but I was alone and I don't like eating by myself. I was overwhelmed trying to

Fun time was has by one and all!!!! sample a few of their crazy flavors, many cereal based flavors, smores, cookie dough flavors. Very creative. They even have a flavor called Sponge bob. I went a little more traditional with coffee and coffee donut ice cream. Very flavorful. The decor is off the hook, with cereal boxes and other crazy stuff on the walls. Funplace to go and delicious ice cream to boot
