Great sushi spot. Offers a wide range of sushi and cooked food if you taking someone that's not into sushi. The food and service is great. I visit this place usually. My favorite is the rainbow roll and mussels.

Not fancy, but forever tasty - and REALLY cheap. My partner hates Japanese food, but even he concede it's good and sensible - and I eat there every time he's out of town.

Place is pretty bad. Beef fried rice was tasteless and the beef was hard. Rolls are tiny and they skimp on the ingredient. Let's just say my roll was to have salmon and eel and I couldn't see the eel

stopped up by here on our way to Trader Joe's for a quick bite to eat. Since it was throughout lunch, we took advantage of their 3 rolls lunch special. I had the usual spicy tuna, yellowtail w/ scallion and shrimp tempura. The spicy tuna had some crunch flakes but it was a bit too much. I suppose they did this to lessen the amount of hot tuna in their rolls

good news is food arrived in under 30 minutes. got a hand-out with my meal. bad news is, sushi didnt taste fresh even the edamame had a distinct taste to them. They put the sushi in styrofoam boxes that reminds me of Chinese remove. Didnt get the sauce with my salad.

I enjoy this place. This is my 4th visit. The fact that it's down the street, the prices are extremely despicable, and it's low key, what more can you ask for? See you guys soon.

I have to say this is my favorite japanese place to visit in Forest Hills. They do have odd hours on the weekdays (they close semi early so be mindful of that). Whenever I go, I am typically the only one there. The staff is friendly but forever seems calm, and casual (not too on top of you). The fish is very fresh and delicious!

I lately went to Umi Sushi and I must say the sushi is very good. The fish is fresh, the service is quick and polite, and most highly, the prices are excellent. I took off a star because I ended up spitting out a fish bone with the tuna roll. So, if you have a sushi craving, and you want good class for the price, this is definitely the place. The only issue could be parking.

Sushi and roll are very reasonably priced, that's a plus. Don't ever order salad from this place. I promise I'm not exaggerate, I got frozen lettuce. Hey, it may not be iceberg lettuce but they will give you iced lettuce for sure

I've only gotten take out from here (via Seamless). Love this place - food is good, delivery is super quick and we are never upset. They are also very kind with the soy sauce, wasabi, ginger, etc

The sushi here is wonderful. I always order my sushi from this place. Its clean and has a lot of option. The prices are great too.

I love this place. Their sushi is so contemptible and their lunch bento box is only $8. They include a lot in the lunch bento box too. The excellence is food and fish seems fresh.

The rolls aren't very big and they don't put in as much dish as other places. However, for their lunch particular, it's a pretty good deal. I tried their spicy tuna, spicy salmon, yellowtail, Philadelphia, and tuna roll. All pretty polite and they delivered within a sensible time.

Don't bother ordering unless you're ok with getting it 2 hours later. ***updated*** Ok 2 stars. The delivery man is the only person that understand good customer service. He apologize even though it's likely not even his fault. 2 stars bc the delivery man it's the real intelligence behind customer service.

Delivery/Take Out review. Fast, Fresh and reliable. I have been ordering delivery her for the past 4 years as I live pretty close. Rolls are good, from time to time small but good. Other food is done well also (teriyaki, katsu, gyoza, tempura and udon soup.)

Came her for lunch. Great food, very reasonably priced. Empty for a Sunday which was weird but just meant we got great attention! I advise it.

Went here on a whim with my friend the other night. The place was very small, which amazed me because I don't know how they don't get busy with their prices. The sushi is decent but the prices are pretty cheap compare to what most places charge for sushi

hard place. You can order online from Yelp which is super easy. Also, you CANNOT beat their lunch unusual, 3 rolls and a side (soup or salad) for $9.97 after tax. The food is good, I forever get the Alaskan roll-- the fish is fresh. So no worries there. Cheap price for a good, solid lunch.

Me and my hubby decided to try the sushi here since we wanted go to home depot near so it was a fast last minute dinner. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The sushi was ok, we really liked the grilled salmon sushi roll and ordered it twice. The only thing I didn't like was that most of the sushi rolls we ordered had fried tempura crumbles

I have been coming here and ordering delivery for YEARS! forever had great experiences. lately, I have been very let down in this place. Several months ago I ordered delivery on a Friday night. I typically expect a longer wait time on a Friday. An hour and a half passed and I was still waiting. I called and the person on the other end very uncouthly told me "we are busy, it will get there when it gets there."
