I stopped going to this place once Station House opened up. This used to be my go to place for football games and wings. The wings are good, the beer is good, and if you can find a seat, the gamewatches are good. The reason I give this place 2 stars is the service. I felt like I taken to flag down a server every time I would get there and then keep asking them for service and attention. I'm a firm believer that token is earned and should not be projected.

Maybe if the bartenders worked instead of flirting with the single guys at the bar and texting on the job I would have valued this higher. Waited for 15 notes just to get a beer and it wasn't even busy. Clearly if she had the time to sit on her phone. Won't be back.

A simple bar which would have gone unnoticed if not for Yelp. There are no extravagant or obnoxious signs outside the bar loud for your attention. There are just a few small chalkboards on the entryway displaying the specials and a statement saying Tap Household has the best happy hour in town. And I might have to agree.

The burgers were singular made. Very good meat. Got fries instead of a side salad but the waitress was sweet so we weren't too upset about it. Came during early happy hour, happy hour prices are great. They were playing the world cup so acting was good as well. A good time. I do recommend.

This is a quality bar with a cyclical beer menu that holds a few nice surprises along with the standards. The food is pretty good as well. I've enjoyed the steak sandwich, the calamari, and the mozzarella sticks. And the wings are fantastic and come in a variety of unlike flavors. They're the highlight of a trip here especially on a Monday night when they're on special and real cheap. I think they're the best wings in Queens.

I've been here a few times, mostly on Friday nights and the place is pretty trendy. It's a very low key hangout with a pretty good DJ spinning hits and some oldies but goodies as well. The sky is relaxed and the eye candy is definitely a plus. I haven't had much to worry here except the calamari which was actually very fresh when I had it.

Your nice, clean, standard, district sports bar conveniently found on Austin St. not far from the subway. What's not to love? They've got your usual bar menu, even in the seating area in the back. Their burgers are nice, and they even make a good personal pizza. Their beverages are cheap and the environment is relaxed. The volume on the music/TV gets to be a bit much occasionally, but it is a sports bar, so it's hard to hold against them.

Tap House is the epitome of the Austin Street scene in Forest Hills. It attracts a somewhat diverse group of people who are commonly friendly, interesting and intelligent, and is overall a good sports bar. The mixed drinks are nice and strong, and there is a good selection of beers as well. I'm sure I'll be back even however I tend to spend a fair total of time at the Irish Cottage when in the neighborhood.

Located right next to 5 Burros Cafe is this long, narrow sports bar. The front area and bar area is a little more cramped but by the back, where the tables are, is a wee bit more spacious. As per a typical sports bar, there are plenty of tv shelters to watch the games. They do serve food here and I had a sampling of fries since my friends, they were pretty good and crunchy with a scatter of some herb on it. Two toilets in the back, by the kitchen, are kept pretty clean.

With Yelp Drinks Week in growth, the vivacious Mike B organized a UYE at Tap House to take advantage of their specials. Although I am not much of a beer drinker, I like the wide-ranging of $3 Blue Moon's!

Love this bar. Amazing DJ on the visits, great bartenders my friends and I constantly get free shots when we come. But to top it off their food can do no incorrect. They have one of the best burgers I've ever had, Their wings are perfectly complete and the nachos are the best.

Finally, a friendly, local bar to resemble the air and offerings of some of the finer outlets in Manhattan. Tap House has several high class whiskeys, scotches and beers on tap. IPAs, lagers, domestic and international - there is no lack of choice.

I actually was going to give this joint three stars because i felt it just to be a mediocre pub, with beer, sports, and the Friday night crazy Austin Street crew. The beer was fairly economy, tap and jugs obviously. What i really enjoyed about this place was the music! Yes, can you believe I would actually like the music at a place like this?! Well they were playing some real nice reggae. Authentic stuff, not dancehall, but some level Marley. That's what made my night so enjoyable.

Came here on a Friday night with my contact as we had an hour to kill before we might get a seat at 5 Burro up the hunk.

What really makes this bar stand out are the $3 drafts until 8 PM. There are 20 beers available on tap, varying from Ithaca Apricot Wheat, Hoegaarden, Sam Adams Sunset Wheat, Sam Adams Noble Pils, Sam Adams Cherry Wheat, Guiness, Budweiser, and Hofbrau. The bartenders are beautiful friendly and will make the energy to take your order as soon as they see you trying to grab their attention. What's not to love about this place? Decent beer selection, cozy neighborhood bar, and great bartenders. I think I may have really found my next go-to spot after work. And I definitely have to try their specialty wings with crazy names like Mango Madness, Alfredo, Chinatown, Honey BBQ, Tokyo Temptations, Smoky Sensations, Buffalo Blasts, Bob Marley's, The Alamo, and Magma Lollipops. If wings aren't your thing, they also have a small menu of typical pub food (soup, salads, apps, burgers, and sandwiches).

Small in contrast to many other bars, but done just right. The layout is pretty narrow, bar stretching lengthwise on the left with ~12 high chairs. Along the right is a small shelf to put your drinks on while standing. This was probably a good idea, giving patrons the suitability of putting their drink down, without the unwieldiness of tables, which would make it pretty hard to navigate near the back. If you care for a seat, there are ~8 tables to hang out with a small group of friends. Situated on all walls are ~10 LCD's to catch the current sports game. And it really felt like a real bar, not some pretentious Forest Hills founding on Austin St.

The Tap House has a very friendly and lively sky, the bartenders, Dona and Ben are great and very easy to talk to. This place is ideal when you just want to have a few drinks and countless appetizers !!

I think this has turned into my even spot ! Drinks are cheap, music is poppin & when I mean poppin. I mean like the 90's music hip hop, R&B, alternative etc. Carries back all the highschool memories! The music is not too lurid for you to have convesations & if your ever hungry.

I am glad to report that Tap House is unmoving a good little sports bar, with a lot of solid flow options. Dogfish Pumpkin (the bartender put brown sugar and cinnamon on the glass rim when I ordered that - pretty cool!), several Sam Adams, several Brooklyn Brewery diversities, and more.

I haven't been here since I wrote my first appraisal - which was the night I moved into my old apartment in Rego Park. I've been import to go back, and when my campaigns for Saturday night imploded, I decided to stay local and fly solo.

Came here once, but still I had so much fun that it totally warrants a review. It was awhile ago during the Stanley Cup playoffs, the Devils won and I happen to be wearing black leggings with a bright red top so the bartenders were giving me and my gal pals free shots, drink discounts and Devils' fans reared all being super friendly. What sucks is that I'm a Stewards fan *hisssssss*. Then again I don't get all riled up around hockey so whatevs. But on to my review.

Tap House has always had the best arms in Forest Hills. Their wings are always meaty and have the perfect crunch. We saw that they are now an Atomic Wings location and got a little worried that they might not be as good. No need to fear still the best in town. My deduction is that they took on Atomic Wings in order to strive with Buffalo Wild Wings.

Best grilled chicken sandwich in town for sure. Maria is always there to greet you with a beam, she is awesome! Excellent food, drinks and client service!! A+

I washed my dinnertime down with a nice light italian Peroni which added to all of the flavors in my mouth. I really liked this place...and submit you try the Bob-Marley parts on your visit, arise on step away from the typical hotter than hot parts (which they have as well)...and live alittle!!

The Dry rubbed-Bob Marley Jerk chicken wings were definitely the highlight of this meal. The side sauce of cucumber, cilantro and other island zings took me to a earnest place, every bite...deliciously stinging my language and Bob Marley's life saying "Dont worry, about a thing, cuz every little thing, is gonna be Alright". And everything was just that.
