My husband and I went here when we were first looking to love to Forest Hills a little over 2 years ago. We loved it so much that we have gone back many times. I even had one of my birthday dinners here. The hibachi show is really fun and the chefs are very talented. Even better, is their delicious and fresh sushi. We can't get enough of this place! The owner is really nice as well and is always very friendly. Excellent service and outstanding food A+++!!!

Came here for dinner. Decided to eat at Habachi. A dinner and a show. Why not! Chef Don put up an amazing show! We ordered lamb and shrimp, filet mignon and scallop (still alive... jumping on the hot iron plate.. lol!) Everything was delicious! Together with Pina Colada and Mai tai ... More than enough to eat! Plenty of shrimps and scallops! 4 decent-sized lamp chops... together with chow mein (Don somehow knew I liked onion.. gave me plenty.. love him for it!) totally wonderful! Will definitely come again

My preferred place to go with the kids in our area...dinner and a show. Food is good. House sake is not...skip it

This is my second visit in two weeks. As you enter, you are asked if you want sushi or hibachi since they offer both. I'm here to review the sushi. On each visit, I got modified treatment. The wait staff immediately sat us down and greeted us. They gave us hot towels to wipe our hands clean. We were offered regular menus and a Happy Hour menu where they had 2 and 3 roll special combos along with Bento box choices. The manager/owner then proceed to talk to my young daughter and asked her if she would like to help feed the fish in the giant pond in the middle of the restaurant. Of course, this made my daughter feel even more at home and fed the fish.

Great sushi spot! Very clean and friendly & I love the pond with the fishes :) The sushi is delicious and reasonably priced too & It even gets better..they have happy hour M-F till 7pm./Sat. till 4pm. You can get 3 rolls for $10.99 which is awesome and they have a nice big selections of rolls and I got sake for $3 and the wine is $4..I'm always looking for places hat are delicious & affordable n we hit the jackpot lol I love this spot! i love that the workers are so friendly and the fact that they tell you about all the specials instead of you having to ask etc. We will def be back soon! Also it's near the E train I believe and there's meter parking and free parking but a lil hard to find..Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

One of my favorite hibachi places in queens. The owners are always so friendly and helpful. Some of the best severs/service that I've had at hibachi have been here at this place. The prices are great and the portions are HUGE! The food is super flavorful, no need for extra soy sauce or to ask for more garlic. Totally forgot to take a pic of my plate of palatability. I am a hibachi fanatic which makes me a tough critic. I love Nigori sake. Here they serve it in a flask not in the actual bottle. I've ate at their hibachi as well as their sushi area. Every time I leave I can not wait to go back.

Of my first feeling, I totally underestimated the quality and hibachi show of Shogun Hibachi. We came for dinner to try the Hibachi and was right away seated with 2 other stranger couples, which we didn't mind. I guess the restaurant seats the hibachi tables to full capacity to be more efficient and make use of the limited hibachi chefs. We ordered steak/chicken and in 5 mins. the show began. The Hibachi chef strolled down with the cart full of raw meat, veggies, and sauces. food weapons, oil, and a lighter. He parked his cart and chopped up cucumbers. Then he proceed to fling the pieces into our mouths (with our consent). Many pieces landed on foreheads, chins, in water cups, and on the ground. The next 10 minutes we were memorized by the the Hibachi's kitchenware aerobic skills and fireshow from an onion. I have never seen a spatula spin so fast or a flame ignite so high.

Second time coming to this location. Decor is very nice and clean. The chef making our food was great. Interactive and easy to talk to. I got hibachi chicken and my girlfriend is vegetarian. Being so there weren't a lot of vegetarian options. None the less they tried to provide somewhere to stay and provide sides. The reason for a 3 is because the portion I received. For the price they charge, I received a small portion. The other people in my table also ordered the same plate, so maybe they got part of my portion. Overall it's a polite place and good food. Portion was my main issue

Loving this place - especially for their happy hour menu. My boyfriend and I ordered their chicken teriyaki bento for $9.99 and 3 rolls for $10.99 during happy hour, and both of us loved the flavors and the value. His bento came with chicken teriyaki, rice, california rolls (4 pieces), salad, shumai, and tempura. I ordered the salmon/avocado roll, crab/avocado roll, and spicy tuna roll (6 pieces of each). The rolls were simple (no profligate toppings or sauces), but they were very pleasing for a sushi craving. Plenty of food for our hungry stomachs. I have to mention that the salmon that they used for the salmon/avocado roll was absolutely delicious and melt-in-your mouth. Such a lovely surprise for a teppanyaki place like this.

The sushi and service are great when dining in the restaurant. Delivery has been an issue more often than not so I propose customers dine-in or pick up. I waited over an hour for a release order before I found out it was never coming in the first place. I would suggest if you cannot offer reliable delivery services you don't offer them at all.

My girlfriend and I get sushi here pretty frequently, whether it's takeout or sit down. They are VERY consistent and the fish is always fresh. Some of the best sushi I've had in Queens. Service is always quick and I like the fountain display in the main lobby! The last time we were here they even made a beautiful sushi boat for us! I was really impressed because we had both ordered the 3 roll lunch particular...I didn't expect someone to put so much time into the presentation for the lunch particular.

The set up of their interior is really wonderful. From the center piece Koi fish pond to the old Japanese tile roof, I really felt as if I was really in Japan. The staff were courteous and polite and many of them were very interactive and friendly towards customers. They really commit to serving and giving customers a comfortable experience. I came here on Valentine's Day with my boyfriend and this place was packed full. At first, we came here for the Hibachi style dinner but there was a 30 minute wait, so we decided to go for sushi. It's a little expensive but the quality of their food was brilliant.

This spot is great. My roommates and I come here often. The owner and all the staff are very nice. We always get two area of expertise rolls a piece and miso soup and it's more than enough food. Everything here is super fresh and tastes tasty. This visit we ordered 2 Denny rolls, a mango roll, mountain roll, Nara roll, and a crazy roll. All of them were delicious. They also have a great happy hour from 3-6 Monday-F and 12-4 S-Sunday. Definitely our go to sushi spot in kew, they have yet to let us down.

Food was really good and our chef, Gary was so funny and made our dinner super fun! He can made cooking look so fun j easy. Our server, Zin was so kind and attentive. She came to us often to make sure we are doing okay. The owner was also very friendly and greeted us when we came in and when we left. Thank you all for making our dinner unforgettable!

Came here late on a Tuesday night for a birthday dinner. The food was meh. Not bad, but not great either. Our hibachi chef was too fast not that exciting. The prices were reasonable. I wouldn't advocate this place if you are looking for a good show. FYI- they check ids if you're going to order drinks (kind of annoying- imagine a large party having to show ids one by one). unluckily, one of my friends forgot her wallet at her job (with her ID in it) and was denied alcohol.

We came in around 1pm on Saturday and the interior was just good-looking. It was very quiet during this hour, however it picks up as time goes by. We chose to do the sushi instead of the hibachi so they sat us at the sushi table. We did not know we came in during happy hour and to our surprise, their happy hour deal is sooo cheap. 3 rolls for $10.99 and 2 rolls for $7.75. SERVICE: Our waitress was a bit eager and had come to our table multiple times asking if we are ready to order even though we were not. Overall, she was very attentive, prompt, and knowledgeable. I would advocate.

I came here for a business lunch gathering. We initially went to a different spot which turned out to not be a sushi place so we crossed the street the long way in the rain til we arrived. Place was empty as well us early afternoon. Very helpful staff and accommodated our requests. Food was great. I don't put raw stuff in my mouth lol so I stay away from the sushi but I do eat the fake stuff like California rolls and lobster rolls. Forgot the names of the attached pics but it was split scrumptious. The gyoza was really good too. Try try try lol.

Ok affair. Nothing to write home about it !! The food getting cooked in front of you was the most fav part. Kids were thrilled. Rest all was low key affair. Lack of good English speaking hostesses has its own shortcomings. Failed to understand half of what they were trying to recommend. Food seemed a little undercooked and over salted. It wasn't a once in a lifetime knowledge. But a once in this lifetime dinner at Hibachi.

I came here today with a friend and truthfully it was so good !! We both got California rolls and the shrimp tempura rolls and it was super yummy! We also got 2 beers which were $3 each on happy hour ! And we got the fried green tea ice cream which was also the bomb! I love it and it was a great first time particularly with my waitress Jennifer! She was super nice and attentive. Thank you for a great time !!

This is my fave hibachi place in Queens. I had my boyfriends 30th birthday there! It was freaking amazing. We had 20 people for hibachi and all somewhat tipsy. The service was top notch and the chefs were very patient. The bill was about $500 which included cocktails and beers. The food was good and fresh as it always is. Parking is usually horrible on queens Blvd but they have complimentary valet which is freaking awesome! Like I mention before, I love this place!!
