Awesome new Halal truck, open 24 hours, right in front of the new CVS on Queens Blvd & 71St Ave. Chicken over rice is $5. And they even have a spicy green sauce that repeats me of peruvian. Try it

Just finished a chicken over rice lunch here ... It costs $6 and came with a soda. Price is good and portion is big. The chicken is cooked with green and red onion and chicken is cut in small chunk instead of the typical chopped like crushed meat chicken I try before from midtown. I only ask for white sauce I should ask for more white sauce on my platter. You should try it the rice tastes good and meat is well period with spices

This cart is great. I for myself think it's better than Sahara. The rice is better, their meat is better seasoned (I usually get the chicken or falafel) and absolutely delightful plus they have an overwhelming green sauce.

Back when I used to live in Forest Hills, this was my go to spot for spare meals when I don't have time to cook. This is a true hidden gem. The halal meat here is as good as any in NYC, rivaling that of the more fame ones in Manhattan. The chicken is immersed just right, with some onion and pepper mixed in.

My favorite halal truck! I used to order from the Sahara halal truck on 71st and find the rice at this truck much healthier - way less greasy, and it's not sank in white sauce

Certified banger for all of your midnight snack cravings. Have enjoyed most items on the menu. Please plan for the following morning accordingly if you have eaten the lamb over rice with hot sauce

I came here on a actually late night after work. Very few choices for simple take-out meals in Forest Hills. Aside from Mexican Food (yes that is the food cart's actual name)) and Sahara's Halal food (popular favorite but also tends to vary in quality as time rolls into the wee hours of the night), your best bet is to travel to Jackson Elevations for your late night filling

Just got food from this cart, it's the best halal everywhere here. The price is average but linked to the other cart on 71st off of Austin Street, it's miles ahead. The guy is unruffled and the food is good, can't ask for much more

I love these guys. They're the aim for my membership to the close NYSC (which has sadly been a waste), but it palates so good that if this is wrong, honey I don't want to be right. When they first unlocked, I was excited because I tried Sahara across the street and it was awful. It looked and tasted horrible, the lettuce was wilted and nasty, and I wish I could tell you about the chicken, but I was too busy pulling bones and sinews out of my entrance to taste it.

Really yummy...I had the cowardly/lamb over rice and falafel over rice...both were very good but I wish they didn't chop up the falafel (next time I'll specify). $6 contains a drink. You can't beat that.

this is my first personal test for Halal, since before this time all my past halal meals were recommended by friends. I had a cowardly and lamb over rice, $6 comes with soda. the helping is unbeatable, meat is fine, not the best but certainly fresh. I had white and red source, it came out very nicely. the guy in the truck is very friendly

Been passing by the truck for over 2 months but finally gave into the temptation of Chix & rice. Yumm... oh so good. Ordered chix & lamb over rice combo and got a huge portion with abundance of red & white sauce!! Meat was tender, not dried out and seasoned just right. Lots of soft rice below the meat.. Cant wait to try the lamb gyro next as I saw numerous people ordering lamb gyro while standing outside in 35 degrees weather.

Food is consistent quality, almost always there (even on crazy snow days!), and friendly staff in the cart. Living on this side of Queens Blvd can't get more suitable! Prices also very reasonable

Best halal food around town ! I ordered a combo platter over rice with pita bread for $7. First, the portion is big enough to hold you down for half of the day. It should really be considered two meals haha. Second, their lamb and chicken is moist and cut to bite sized pieces (almost cubed like). Its seasoned to perfection and has a great texture when you bite into it. Third, the rice is also well heated (although it is white), it accompaniments the meats correctly

Very good Forest Hills halal cart in a not so ideal site if you're coming from Austin St. You'll have to make the mad dash across Queens Blvd. Ordered the mixed chicken and lamb over rice and it was very tasty. Even better, it's only $6 with a drink. Would certainly risk being run over crossing Queens Blvd to come back here and recommend it.

Well-ordered 2 chicken and lamb over rice for $6 each. The rice is seasoned well, the meat tastes pretty good. Nice heat. I think it's better than the ones in the city, my only issue is perhaps the portion of meat was not too generous. At first I didn't know where the truck was located but I read one review where you needed to cross Queens Blvd... and nearby it was

vGood cheap food on the go. Get the chicken lamb combo over rice. Good shares and delicious flavors--go light on the red sauce though since it is really spicy. Good guys here.

Outstanding Halal truck - fresh, hot, and tasty. It's my lfriend's and my favorite neighborhood tolerance when we feel like taking a night off from cooking. Friendly staff, who reliably get our special-order-instructions right. And you get a bonus - free bottled water or can of beverage with your sandwich or platter! (You will not get that from the rival food trucks on 71st.) You DO need to remember your free beverage, however

I really like this place. Usually pretty fresh and a great value for six bucks. The guy in there is typically pretty nice as well. My normal is a chicken over rice with white sauce and bbq sauce with a grape soda. I feel like the lamb isn't quite as good as most places which is why I stick to the chicken for the most part. Anyhow this place is great; some folks like the one across queens boulevard but I have yet to try that one

Why this halal cart and not the other across the boulevard ? Because shahzada provides reliably good halal food and to top it off always a welcoming staff. Let's get with the breakdown

I wasn't a fan, the chicken tasted tough some were raw undercooked some were cooked, the lamb had mushy texture, rice was good though. The guy tried to overprice me may be it was a mistake but I asked for correct money back. I don't like being ripped off especially if I'm middle eastern myself and I get crappy treatment.

Anyone who stays up past midnight and frolics in Forest Hills can tell you there isn't much profitable on during the late night scene, at least in terms of eats. For some reason most people are asleep after 10pm (#1) and those who are seeking some midnight nourishment can find Shahzada, a Halal cart that I'm certain has attained buzzworthy status as a late night savior

I was really happy to try this halal cart after the rave reviews, and having tried Sahara's in the past. Inappropriately, I was a bit disappointed with my experience. Nice guy and was already digging that $6 platters come with a free soda. Ordered a chicken dish and the food was packed quickly

I've tried alternating days between this stand and the one in front of Intimidate wild wings. I definitely have to say they don't taste the same. My dad came from foreign, at first I thought he wouldn't like chicken over rice since he never had it. I was incorrect. He not only liked it but preferred this truck. He always ordered chicken/lamb combo
