This place is under new organization and has an updated menu. We order from them all the time and have not had any misses. It is always fresh and delicious! Their sheepshead bay roll and spicy kani mango salad are wonderful!

This place always has the best service and the food is wonderful. It's a humble place to go. Always smells great it's never dirty and the music be on point. The staff is cool and are not after to interact with there customers. This has to be the best sushi spot in Rego Park.

Since I've exposed it in 2008, I think it is one of the best sushi places in NYC. Why? It's very unassuming but still is super clean, friendly staff and the fish is ever fresh. I've moved to NJ but when I'd go to get my sushi fix. Inexpensive but yet high quality. This place brings reminiscences of good times and still delivers!

tend to not be impressed by sushi, but this little spot absolutely deserves a good review. I admit the ambiance is very cozy and the furnishing isn't too fancy, but I'm willing to overlook that for the really kinda staff that greeted us. The waiter was really patient and polite, despite my huge indecision on what to order. My boyfriend and I ended up getting a ginza roll (cooked salmon, mayo, and tempura flakes), a spicy salmon roll, a spicy kani roll, an eel avocado, spicy tuna, and east roll. I ordered ginza on a whim and I regret nothing from it! The cooked salmon was spiced and had huge flavors in contrast to the sushi rice.

This Sake Sushi in Queens must not be mistaken by the All You Can Eat Sake in Brooklyn! My Fiancé and I were around the area during lunchtime and determined to give this sushi place a try.. Good thing we did because we loved both of our lunch specials. ~~~Outstanding Chicken Teriyaki Bento Box for lunch special!!! So Fulfilling -- Chicken Teriyaki (tender and flavorful), California Roll (the right size with the right ingridients), Beef Negimaki, Shrimp Tempura, and RICE!! ~~~Also, the sashimi lunch particular is a melt-in-mouth goodness!!!! Totally FRESH selection of fish too!

This sushi restaurant is cheap and satisfying. My spicy salmon rolls were $3 each. The rolls are a good size, and the fish is a good amount. Waitstaff is friendly and forever making sure all was fine. Convenient location across from shopping areas. There are meter parking spots outside. Only place I've seen so far, with a bonsai tree on the wall. If ever you are approximately this area, I highly suggest eating here over any other sushi spots.

I like this place, they make good fresh sushi, particularly for delivery, just ask them to make it according to your preferences and they will do. I wish they have cleaner space inside, that's why 4 stars.

The food there tastes great. The prices are sensible. The staff are friendly and nice. They have many creative roles. The ambiance is quite and calm. It is a good place to have lunch or dinner with friends or family.

I'm a regular at this place. Rather it's dine-in or delivery. It's at least a weekly thing. They practically roll out the red carpet when I arrive, so service is definitely great. I absolutely love the sushi, not only because it's cheap, but it's fresh and tastes great. Yes, they do put avocado in almost all their rolls which is definitely ok by me, and is probably why I love this place so much. I'm an avocado fiend. I've been to luxurious sushi restaurants and Sake's competitor before, and I just find that this one has a place in my heart. My fave rolls here are: spicy tuna, dynamite, eel avocado cream cheese, ginza, shrimp tempura, dragon. Those are my top rolls. Non-sushi items are also good. Such as

organization has changed for a while now and it's abysmal. The person at the counter is rude and incompetent. I've dined in and ordered a lot less now. Service sucks. The guy is pretty nice. All the females are bitches. They've changed the spicy tuna roll to not having avocado or cucumber in it which sucks big time. It was the reason I appreciated it. Think I need a regular sushi spot.

I always come here for lunch particular. The sashimi lunch is great and filling. I also like how every lunch set comes with a salad/soup, and ice cream. The sushi is fresh and they also have a variety of special rolls. Service is good and staffs are friendly. This restaurant is great for a quick lunch. FYI: most "Japanese" restaurants here is opened by Chinese. So if you want real Japanese food you have to go some imagine ones in Manhattan.

I like their sushi over the other ones in the area. sensible pricing, I gave 4 stars because I've had sushi in Japan and you can't really get a similar knowledge in NY but I would go here in queens.

Monday's are typically quiet. The subpar temperatures don't help either. This is a must visit neighborhood joint with a great menu for lunch and dinner. Tonight we frequent for dinner. We had the tempura udon, nabe udon and salmon teriyaki. A lot of food for two, but it was cold and the staff was not judgy! All three entrees come with miso soup or salad. We had one miso soup and two salads. The miso soup had great flavor and depth. Chunks of tofu and seaweed at the bottom and fresh scallion sprinkled on top. The salad greens were fresh and crisp decent in carrot ginger dressing.

Best sushi place we've been to. Always fresh and the service is top notch. Highly advocate this place. Oh and the house wine you have to try.

Was in the mood for good sushi and thank god I came upon sake sushi!. The restaurant is small but cozy, loved the bare joists. Very warm environment. Very happy to report excellent service, and all the food was fresh and delicious. My husband and I will absolutely be returning here.

Sake Sushi is always my to-go-to sushi restaurant in Queens. Their rolls are very reasonably priced and their food tastes fresh. They don't overload their sushi with rice like many other restaurants do either. Today, I ordered the spicy salmon, spicy tuna, spicy kani, eel avocado, and rock-and-roll and it was really delicious. At the counter, they also have this wonderful guava candy available, and it was really nice to finish off my meal with it.

Went there with someone to get something to eat, very nice lady who was serving the food, the food was tasty, ordered some sushi, and other items. After done eating, someone asked why I did not give enough tip, I gave $4 tip, I think that's enough for two people, I'm not rich. Next time I should just take the order and eat it anywhere else. I appreciate it costs money to run a place, but I'm not rich to be tipping the waitress like celebrities do,lol. The food was tasty, and I would recommend it to others, the only bad part was the tipping part, but I have to say if I do get a better job, I do not mind giving a dollar extra, but I did not stay there for too long to give extra tip

This is still my favorite sushi place in the city. The salmon sashimi is my total favorite. So delicious fresh. Everything has always been fresh. I also love the eel sashimi, The octopus, shrimp, and crab sashimi are also good, as are the California rolls. The crazy dragon roll is out of this world. The shrimp shumai and gyoza pork dumplings (they have a just a hint of spice) are also delicious, as are the garlic shrimp (though I do wish they didn't come with the shell on). But my preferred non-raw fished based item on the menu are the garlic noodles. Shrimp, salmon, scallops and crab in a creamy garlic and mushroom sauce over udon noodles. Is your mouth watering? It should be. It's sooo rich and filling and warm and just WOW.

I was in the mood for some sushi and Sake Sushi is a solid option. I ordered the dynamite scallops, sauteed eggplant, shrimp tempura roll, spicy tuna roll, salmon avocado roll and the kani roll. In terms of the bad: the dynamite scallops portions were considerably less than usual and also dry due to a lack of their mayo based sauce they used. The kani roll was dry and perhaps a bit more aged then it should have been. The salmon tasted a bit fishy.

All of my experience at this place were really good. The fish is fresh tasting when I go in store and order pick up/ to go. absolutely one of the better places for sushi in Rego Park!! I'm not sure about their delivery service though, because I've been a local. I always took my food home by myself, so don't know if that changes anything. The staff is pretty friendly too so I've been a regular for like 3 years now!

The sashimi is wonderful and the special rolls are tasty. Try the Golden Dragon Roll if you like mango. Richard was an amazing waiter as well!

So I gave this place a poor review, a few months back. I found myself invited back for lunch there lately and was pleasantly surprised. Went back several more times and continue to enjoy the food. I would not say it is the best sushi restaurant that I have even been to but, given the sensibleness of their prices, I must admit a great bang for the buck! Everything was fresh and service was ok.
