The service was ok. The food was slow to come out but the wait was worth it. all was outstanding! Just FYI you're clothes will smell once you leave the restaurant so I wouldn't plan on going somewhere else afterwards.

We ordered sushi and squid, and an wonderful discovery of the evening: flavored sake (peach, if I recall). IT WAS SO DELICIOUS. The sushi was so-so. It was so tasty that the patrons seated next to us, in very Queens fashion, joined our conversation a few times. I even poured him a tiny bit of our sake, much to the dismay of my friend. I'm sorry! Will absolutely be back. Service was great. Lock the bathroom door when you go in.

OMG! SushiGasm in your lips!!! Salmon Sushi stairway to heaven is what this item was! Mind blown! Shrimp Tempura Roll #4: 4/5 Mouth full of palatability. Get ready to take two bites to finish each piece! Super huge pieces, totally worth it! Overall, this is an amazing, cute, cozy date night spot! Love the lighting, music and service! Can't wait to go back...hands down to the creative genius, Chef Zabb!!

The service is ok, but the excellence and price was great and the ambience is personal, dissimilar/odd but a refreshing addition to the area.

I can't really think of anything The one thing I should mention that doesn't have anything to do w/the service or the food but this place is small & they don't seem to have their heating figured out. I went here a few weeks ago & it was cold, when we were sitting towards the front it was too cold & in the back it was too hot. They haven't figured out a good heating system for the restaurant

food was polite and service was great, not too sure it will be overcrowd during Friday and weekend nights since I went there on a Tuesday 8PM. And it is CASH ONLY and they put TAX so be aware of it

About the food: kani salad was good. normal but had some sriracha for a little kick. Hamachi cappacio as good as I expected. Fresh and tasty. Mentai pasta was wonderful. Creamy and tasty. Sushi dinner honestly was not special. Very standard. That's why u come here for the non regular stuff. Would def come back to try more stuff.

The rest is very small & decor looks cute. Servers are helpful. You feel like you're in japan but people that handle this japanese restaurants are all thai. But still a nice place. Good to know that theirs nice Japanese restaurant out there.

Start with cold takowasa with beers (usual izakaya beer/sake line up and cocktails). Later fill up with some carbs like the mentai pasta (too soft here imo, masks the mentai taste, some reviewers seem to like it that way). Didn't try any of the sushi here so can't comment on that. Cash only, the rising trend in restaurants.

We had to sit for more than 30 minute before everyone had their food. It came out one by one in long time. The food came out in this order: takowasa, pasta, spicy miso ramen, takoyaki, sushi, shrimp tempora roll. While we were waiting for food, there was three people in the open kitchen. Two out of three kitchen people behind to counter was not making food or did not even bothered to make themselves look busy except for one person filling free order.

Sour plum onigiri- Good, sour. kind sour plum filling. I always get one here because I love that tanginess. Recommend by YMMV. grill sour plum onigiri- Good, sour. kind sour plum filling. Not really much of a difference between the grilled and original.

The sushi here is what you would imagine in any average sushi restaurant. They give you politely big cuts. Their rolls are a bit pricey, around $15, but you do get like 10 pieces so not bad

amazing vibe and ideal for catching up over a late meal. Also right next to the subway :)

There were other tables around us still there so I suppose it's known for being open late night. The table next to us looked like they ordered the lot they could & honestly I might come back & do the same. The hot miso ramen really was spicy & great, I love when restaurants don't hold back

Service here is incredibly well-bred, as they had a couple people take my order and clear my plates. absolutely not a spot for a big group, but the food is solid - would like to try the sushi and sake next time.

Arrived of fried oyster, barely crispy external & just hot enough to eat; soaking of overnight oil! Deep color external breadcrumb indicated old oil! Next come sashimi salad, luke warm with its fish! Warning sign of fish freshness! Then comes mentaiko pasta soaked with mayo + the saltiness from the fish. Other than the fattiness from the mayo, there is no flavor for the dish

This place is great despite the small size (only 5-7 tables). The food's great, the service is good. I'll be recommend to my friends. But i have to take a star out since their kitchen vent system is not too good. My clothes, jacket, even phone cover smell for days.

Is this the best izakaya ever? Absolutely not. But (and it's a big but) we're talking about Jackson Heights, right next to many subways and buses, with street parking, the prices are very reasonable, the food is better than some izakayas in the city (Village Yokocho comes to mind) AND the staff is wonderful friendly.

Great Japanese bar type food. remind me of Sake Bar Hagi without the general beer/cocktail list. But brilliant food and service none the less. Sashimi platter was fresh, beautiful presentation; large pieces of sashimi. Small sized restaurant (less than 20 seats) but table size was more than expected

Sake Bar by Zabb hooks you in as you climb down the stairs. The atmosphere is fun and casual, the service is friendly and well-informed, and the food is delish and really, really sensibly priced. This restaurant is a complete gem
