So I actually saw them production falafel and it caught my courtesy I figured I'd give it a shot. hands-down the best falafel place in New York City it's actually made in house . Let me not forget that the salads are also made in house and they definitely do not nickel and dime you again very generous portions. And the chicken sandwiches are amazing soaking look like olive oil and some other stuff

Astonishing Israeli food. myself have been living in the neighborhood for years, and have just found this place. I definitely recommend the falafel and the kebabs. It is the best I have ever had. The prices are good, and the servers are quick. You can't go wrong by pending here!

This place is the real deal. They cook whatsoever you choose to order so they threw my lamb kebob on the grill right when I ordered it. While you wait you can stare at all the fresh vegetables and salads in the case to pile on your pita or platter when it's ready.

Attractive falafel pita sandwich...this is on par with mamouns! All fresh tasting ingredients and super filling. I only wish I had known about this sooner! Other kebab sandwiches available too. I just found a bit pricey being that it's a hole in the wall joint.

The shawarma is full of shawarma spices.. they don't cut it like other places do they just put a chunk of turkey breast inside. Full of salads even tho I only asked for Israeli salad.. was not good. Sorry gave them two chances both were not good. Requested for a plate of salads on the side and the charged me $20. Not worth the money

Filling and fresh food, quick service, kind workers, and super clean! I only take off one star because it's a bit pricey. $7 for a falafel and $6 for a tube of hummus is a lot id say. Other than that it's good, the place can perhaps fit like ten people pass with flying colors for seating but there's parks around Austin st to sit and eat or take home!

Service is so bad !!! I order a delivery, and the guy said 45 minuets, after 55 minuets I call again ( I need to leave in 35 minuets) to see how far he is , the guy answering he will be there in 10 minuets... call over after 15 minuets, the guy responding he is around the corner... after 10 minuets call again... he start yelling at me if I want to fight with him and that he doesn't need my money, and that he will cancel my order!! I told him not to do me any favors and that he need to say sorry for the late and not treating me , needless to say I canceled my order

This place is my "healthy" go to. Their combo platters come with every salad from the central east. They package everything so neatly and it comes in tact for delivery. I personally love their falafel, potato salad, hummus, pita, anddddd pretty much everything I guess. I wish they had rice though. I tend to be low carb but some rice would hit

Went in and asked what sandwhich i should get (since reviews rave them).Personally i wanted the beef shwarma but he claimed the chicken was the most popular, so i agreed to it. The meat and potatoes looked and tasted fresh. Too bad 75% of the sandwich is stuffed with vegetables rather than the chicken meat itself. He also asked what to put in the sandwich and i said i have no clue just put what you think is good; he said "no problem just let me know if you like it to be spicy". I said yes, appreciatively it was just the right amount

Wow. A+ all around. Guys working there were really nice, pricing is fair, and the food was delicious. Lamb pita was so flavorful and hit it out of the park. The falafel is excellent as well. I just moved to the area, and I will definitely be back

Is this a true 5-star eatery? There are not many places to sit. There are no tables. It is practically underneath the LIRR tracks. But undoubtedly among the best Israeli falafel and grilled meats in Monarchs and all other boroughs. Salads are on-point, too. Glatt Kosher. The two guys running things are always running things right. If the fees seem high, kosher meat and poultry are generally more expensive.

I understand that consumption kosher is luxurious. But truthfully, this food is worth the extra money. Honestly, it's the salads that are the Star here. All are fresh made, and the eggplant is truly amazing. I'm glad I don't live far away, since it's delicious

I was really awe-struck with this place raved about this place so we obvious to have a nice lunch together. First off, this place is fairly small! Like small pretty tight space. Good thing the food certainly makes up for it had the chicken pita and I went for falafel.

I got to say typically this place is great but they fell off... I ordered some food it took 2 hours to get to my house I called them a couple times and then them telling me it's on the way ...the food came completely sloppy totally cold and not what I wanted. Sad

Stopped in after 10 years away and it is still amazing as ever. Had the chicken shawarma (with the works) which was fresh and loaded with amazing toppings. On top of the great food is the wonderful service. Owner was closed when I came in but since of my long journey home back to NJ he fired up the lattice and cooked for me

I love this place! Thankfully it's in my neighborhood and I frequent it often. It is tiny and most customers take food to go, including myself. The staff is friendly and the speed is comparatively quick.

It's a small place concealed under the LIRR but wow is it popular. When I went on a random weeknight within an hour of them closing, there was a constant steady stream of people ordering to-go or sitting for a quick bite. The guys are all so friendly and nice. There is a good selection of meats and falafel sandwiches and platter combos. I had a falafel in pita and I love that you can add as many different varieties of salads you want (Israeli salad, carrots, beets, baba ganoush, hummus etc

Love this place! Doesn't matter what you order, it's always tasty and always fresh! Very nice guys working there as well. I keep coming here whenever I'm in the neighborhood. Love it! Best place in the area!

This is doubtfully the best restaurant in Forest Hills. It's a literal hole in the wall placed under the LIRR. No tables just a few stools. But they make magic with the incomplete space that they have. Meat is grilled to order and is always good. Platters come with an assortment of Israeli salads--grill eggplant with harissa, russian potato salad, beet salad, tabbouleh, babaganoush. For me, the salads are the star. All excellent. I love the variety that is offered

I don't know you, Yelp reader, but I'm telling you right now... If you're in Queens looking for a falafel spot, go here. Falafel with everything, spicy. AND a side order of their potato salad. You can thank me later. I live about 15 notes away by car, if no traffic, and when in the nature to have a falafel, my husband will energy out from Hollis to get it. Why?
