Never would of expected such a jewel existed in this neighborhood! I don't consider this forest hills, more like the back end of Corona... The decor is wonderful the amount of attention to detail is extraordinary. The ambiance is modern & laid back w/ a romantic feel. Stopped by during Happy Hour. Tasty & generous servings of house cocktails to the large variety of Happy Hour finger foods. Everything I tasted & drank was on point, but what really took it to the next level was the customer service & Wei the owner. forever making sure everything & everyone was on there P's & Q's. Overall this is a dope spot for a Romantic Date w/ plenty of private comfortable seating or swing by w/ da crew & catch happy hour! Plenty of Sport's TV's by da bar.

The service here is extraordinary. Ambiance is great for a date night. Fish was fresh, and COLD (plus). Gyoza was crispy and probably the best I have had in a long time. Also, the portions seemed larger and this was nice for an appetizer. Soup was very hot (I was warned about this). It's usually room temperature in a lot of Japanese restaurants. I loved that it was hot. I have to admit, I do not like the smell coming from the bar. If I didn't see the positive Yelp reviews beforehand, I almost certainly would have walked out because of this. Fortunately, you do not smell the odor in the restaurant area. Presentation was average. I am really focused on the fresh food. Nonetheless, with the ambiance of the restaurant, you do expect a little art.

Great service! Happy hour 4-7 pm. The mitotini was tasty as was the ginger lychee martini. Sushi rolls were fresh and delicious and perfect for happy hour. The calimari was lightly breaded and served with a sweet sauce. Will definitely return and bring friends. Btw, did I say the service was brilliant?

I have been wanting to review this place for a while now! This place is so so good! Their filet mignon hibachi is so tender, flavorful and yummy! So is all their other hibachi choices. I love their Mongolian Beef! So satisfying! You can't go there and not order their spicy tuna & avocado balls (it has a legit name but that's what I call it). The one boss who's forever there is very nice. So is all the staff. Friendly and funny. Super Good!

One of the most amazing dining experience! There's spots outside the restaurant to park in. I found parking really easily ! I made doubts for 7:30pm on a Saturday night. Upon arrival, we were seated right away and in a booth! The restaurant is gorgeous and beautifully designed. It's very intimate with dim lights. The staff was amazing. So attentive and helpful! I asked for a cake for my friend and they made sure to go all out with the staff singing happy birthday. They even added her name, thank you! My friend also loved the staff. At one point she wasnt eating bc she wanted an extra plate and they noticed right away. We got the grilled squid which was so chewy and tasty with lots of sauce.

Everything was astonishing. From the food, to the waitress, to the atmosphere, this is the best restaurant I have been to in months

tasty food! Attentive wait staff, lots of seating and a beautiful restaurant! I've been here a few times in the past and went back recently to celebrate a commencement. Food was delicious and came out in a timely manner. Note for dessert lovers: it's not listed on their menu BUT they do indeed have fried ice cream (like most other asian restaurants, haha) they had vanilla and green tea ice cream options!

I chose this place for my birthday and it was the perfect choice i made. The service, ambience and the sushiiiiiiiiiiis were amazing. ordered "lady gaga", "joker" and other yummy sushi rolls but had to say it was tough choice to make "joker" sushii roll as the winner of them all. If like something with spice go for it. My server "Anna" was very sweet, attentive & made sure we were happy at Mito. The place itself has good-looking dining and bar which is eye pleasing. It wasn't a busy night so had a quiet dinner time which was just exactly what I wanted :) Will definitely be back ! p.s the desert for the bday was on the house which was very thoughtful & sweet !

Mito Asian Fusion is a feast for your eyes. I came here today with a co-worker for a quick lunch, I was astonished by it's beautiful decor. I would love to return for a date night. Our waitress Anna was attentive, the food & drinks was good. I will definitely return.

Hands down my favorite sushi spot in Queens. This place is so nicely bedecked and has such a romantic ambiance. I love sitting in the booths they have further inside that are shaped like a semi circle, it creates an intimate setting - perfect for a date. Their sushi is incredibly good. The fish is always fresh and their rolls are made with the perfect amount of rice. They have happy hour on weekdays from 4pm-7pm, with discounted specialty cocktails, kitchen appetizers, and $4 rolls. Such a great deal! The service is faultless, and they are extremely attentive. I love how they bring the credit card device to the table for you to pay your bill. I definitely recommended this place to anyone who is looking for a good sushi spot in Queens.

The atmosphere and decor here is really nice. The parking is really easy. The seating is really spacious and I like the round lounge type seating. This is a nice setting for a date. The service is good however it was rather empty so I wouldn't wait for less. The drinks and food were pretty mediocre. Sushi roll had fried lobster on the side. The tempura coating was very oily and I felt like I was biting into bits of grease. The roll itself has pretty bland and I ate half. The rock shrimp had way too much sauce on it and the sauce was too creamy--like warm mayo. The passion fruit Mojito was like juice and I didn't taste much passion fruit.

Had a great time. Delicious food. Came for a late dinner on a Saturday and it wasn't very busy. Servers were welcoming and service was fast. I also loved how the restaurant looked inside, cozy and classy/elegant atmosphere.

Food is good. I love the fact that they have a variety of choice, it's not only sushi. Services are brilliant. I would prefer if they have better lightening however.

The atmosphere and decor of this place is very soothing. You can come at any time and the vibe is the same. The staff is friendly. The drinks are strong even during happy hour. The food is tasty. My favorite is the rock shrimp. The rolls could be thicker. That is why I can't give more stars... the rolls need work because they taste good but they lack consistency. I've been here a few times particularly during their lunch specials and happy hours. Definitely a great spot for this location, one of the few in the neighborhood. Could also be great for a quiet date night.

I'm come here twice now. Once for dinner with my friend and his family and another time for happy hour. Happy Hour is obtainable from 3-7pm Monday through Saturday. $3 beers, $4 apps, $6 wine and $6 cocktails. Happy hour food is pretty decent. Would definitely recommend getting the chicken satay, the chicken was cooked completely and was still very tender. For dinner I would recommend trying some of their interesting appetizers. They're typically on the smaller side though. The hibachi which is what I had was pretty tasty and the portions are huge. For birthdays they will get a free dessert, so don't forget to ask.

Service - very friendly, gracious & attentive. Drinks - love the cocktails! Prices- very very reasonable for the location. Ambience - Loungy and upscale! Food - Yummy! Their seafood and duck dishes are the absolute best. This is my new favorite restaurant in Rego Park. It's a hidden gem which can get really busy on weekends. Reservations are recommended! Customer parking is easily available. I totally love this restaurant. Highly recommend.

My family and I were looking for a good place to eat as we were driving from NYC. We were very pleased with this place. The workers were very welcoming, the place was very clean and appealing to the eye, and the food was very good. The sushi rolls were small but were very good (salmon, eel, and white tuna), no that much rice (which I like it), the meat that were part of the bento boxes were very good as well. To top it, the price is good as well. I advise this place.

Service was so-so and and the heat wasn't on or the door propped open so was a bit chilly. Food was outstanding. I'll definitely be back.

Went here for dinner and overall it was just fine. The prices were a little higher than I likely. I ordered a whole bunch of the normal rolls and a salmon platter. The sushi was average and while the salmon sashimi was great the rest was below average. Not a great choice check out A sushi on Austin.

The food is decent. The interior plan is nice but a bit contrary to the real ambiance. For a fusion place, the staff can be pretty detached and unengaging. Not that I need a floor show but they built a heart with low pulse and decent food at similar prices. I know at least three other places at par that do embrace you with an energy. Don't get me wrong, it's a decent place but honestly, a bit of a large yawn.

This place is beyond good-looking. I love the aesthetics here at Mito. Albeit, it is not huge the intimacy and decor draws you in and keeps your attention. My hunny and I had a date night here prior to going to the movies to see The Strangers: Prey At Night. The service was a 4/5 stars and the reason for this is since although our waiter was polite he didn't ask if I wanted another drink. I enjoy a great drink and the one I ordered was superb however, the punctuality was not there. This one mishap will not allow me to reduce the overall rating for Mito.

Very nice place, cozy with private booths, but large enough for a group. I had the sushi for two which was very yummy. Clean light taste. No smell, which is a good thing when your having sashimi! My server, Anna was helpful and polite. Always keeping an eye on my hot green tea. I would go back once more.

Think I found my new favorite sushi spot in Queens! With all due respect to my homies at Bamboo Ya, this place is beautiful and so damn delicious. The dining set pieces are official, (or as my wife said) this place really has some good taste. Shrimp shumai was beautiful, light, and steamed to meaty excellence. The soy sauce they serve with these bad boys was on another level. The Hot Mama roll was exquisite. Slightly spicy, slightly crunchy, all sorts of delicious. The sauce drizzled all over? Crack.

Great sushi joint in forest hills. Didn't expect such an awesome decor from the outside. The sushi there was super fresh and tasty. We ordered the lobster monster, which they use real lobster meat for the sushi and tempura. Second dish was the beef peppercorn, which was bursting with flavor and was spicy in the best way. The service is top notch, very helpful and friendly. Only thing is, it's a bit pricey, so it would be hard to make it a usual place. Still, we will be returning.
