Many individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) present with co-occurring challenges, such as anxiety, inattention, or depression. At times, it can be challenging to distinguish these symptoms from the core features of ASD and to adapt intervention approaches. Psychologist Dr. Michelle Lee, will discuss identifying co-occurring symptoms in children with ASD as well as ways parents and clinicians can support individuals with ASD presenting with co-occurring diagnoses.
