Central Queens YM & YWHA is a unique venue where everyone can come together to enjoy affordable activities and quality programs, and to discover opportunities to connect with others who share similar backgrounds and interests. The mission of our organization is to sustain and enhance the quality of family and individual life for all members of our community regardless of age, gender, religion, ethnic or cultural background, national origin, or disability within an environment that fosters Jewish values, culture, learning, identity, and continuity. Based in a 35,000 square foot facility on 108th Street with a full-sized pool and gym, our programs include a Parenting Center & Nursery School; Kids Korner Afterschool Program; CQY Nursery, Travel, and Day Camps; Teen Leadership Programs; Health and Fitness Classes & Programs; Adult Education; Cultural Arts Programs; Jewish Cultural and Educational Programs & Events; the Hevesi Jewish Heritage Library; and a major Senior Center.
