Nenim Iwebuke was born in Delta State, Nigeria. He spent 6 years of his early life in Toxteth, Liverpool in the U.K. His love for music started as a kid, listening to his dad’s huge record collection– Funk, soul, jazz, disco and reggae. Nenim and his family returned to Lagos, Nigeria in 1988, where he got more exposure to highlife, Afrobeat and Afro-funk which was still popular during that period. He later graduated from the University of Lagos in 2007 and moved to Nasarawa State to serve his country under the National Youth Service Corps in 2008. While there he picked up deejaying, threw parties and played at a few local dance venues. In 2009, he moved to Abuja and continued with his craft.
